The FIRST STEP project is a ERASMUS + progject (2020-1-HU01-KA201-078756) and is part of a more complex research and quality development project in early childhood education and care, developed at European level, involving Galileo and its partners in various previous and current European projects, such as MECEC +, I. ECEC, END !, EU_SELF.
The objective of the partnership is to identify and share the best practices of the European partners on the acclimatization phase in early childhood services. Each partner country of the project will address some specific aspects of the target to which their services are addressed: Roma ethnic minority (Hungary), inclusive education of children with disabilities (Italy), migrants (Spain), bilingualism and specificity of retirees (Estonia), Montessori method (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
The general objective of the FIRST STEPS project is to analyze and compare the important activity of acclimatization of the child in early childhood services and to broaden the knowledge and professional skills of the educators of the partner services.
